Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area
An untouched oasis of calm and pure nature offers many beautiful places to visit with children. The highest peak of the Žďárské vrchy is Devět skal. It forms a grouping of rock towns and was formed by frost weathering processes. The name is derived from a rock labyrinth. On one of the rocks there is a lookout point that provides a wonderful view of the surroundings. You can directly connect it with Žákova hora, which is located 2 km from the village of Cikháj, with the beautiful rock formation Čtyři palice near the village of Křižánky or with Pasecká skála. All natural monuments are marked with tourist trails.
The Žďárské vrchy are interwoven not only with tourist trails, but also with cycling trails. So you can spend a holiday with children on bikes here. One of the cycle trails leads from Přibyslav to Sázava and is 19 km long. There are also asphalt roads through the forests. You can try, for example, the cycle trail from Kadov via Blatiny. You can shorten it with smaller children.

Statues of Michal Olšiak
Žďár Hills are also famous for their interesting sculptures by Michal Olšiak. There are 26 of them in the vicinity of Žďár nad Sázavou. Rosička Lookout Tower
The ceremonial opening was on August 12, 2001. The total height of the steel tower is 42 meters. The viewing platform is 24 meters high, with 140 steps leading up to it along a spiral staircase around the perimeter of the mast. Another part serves the mobile operator.
